Circular knitting needles are one of the essential tools in a knitter’s stash. Many knitters have often said that circular needles have made knitting a pleasurable experience. Their name already implies their use, ‘circular knitting’ or ‘knitting in the round’. 

Are you new to crochet or, are you an experienced crocheter? No matter how new or old are you to the craft, you often come across the question, how do I choose a crochet hook? There is no one simple answer to this question. Choosing crochet hooks mostly depends on the project you have in mind, but many other factors affect the choice. 

We all remember getting our first pair of knitting needles. But how about some of our first accessories? Maybe someone gifted you a measuring tape or a decorative pair of scissors that reminds you of a beloved family member. Or maybe you remember your first project bag and how excited you were to place all of your tools in the pockets and start to keep your works in order. As much as our knitting needles become a part of us, so do our accessories.

Purchasing your first interchangeable knitting needle set could be considered a rite of passage, a sign that you have moved on from “learning to knit” to “investing in your craft.” When you first start knitting, you may have been passed down a set of needles, or picked one up without much thought from a local craft store.
