Rice Basket - Large

The seed for Lantern Moon grew from this beautiful and simple basket. An essential multipurpose container with a collapsible top half for a more compact form.

Traditionally, this basket has been used to carry rice from field to market. The salt water reed is sustainably harvested, flattened by hand press, then dyed and woven by village artisans in the community center and in their homes.

	My hubby bought the large blue basket for me, and I just loved it. However, after 2 years, the basket ripped. The rips started at the fold and worked toward the handles. So very, very disappointed!

	Love these baskets
	I love storing their yarn in these baskets!! It keeps it tidy and the finish is so smooth I have no concerns about the fiber catching.
