3. Spiderwebs

This easy Halloween crochet project is fun to make. With basically some geometry and chain stitches you can create some spooky spiderwebs.

Make a CH 14 and form them into a ring with 1 in the first chain stitch.

Now work 1 TR and 6 CH around the ring. Repeat until you have 5 DC.

Ch. 4, then work 1 DC into each DC stitch and the middle of the lower chains with 5 ch. in between the strings.

Ch. 4 and work Tr. into each DC and 1 Tr in the middle of each string with 8 ch in between.

Repeat as many rounds as you like, increasing the number of ch by 3 for each string between the Tr.

Make the last round with 6 CH more in each string than the round before.

4. Spiders

Round 1: 6 SC around the ring

Round 2: 2 SC into every stitch of previous round

Round 5: 1 decrease every second stitch. Insert your hook and pull yarn through, insert hook in next stitch and pull yarn through, grab yarn and pull through all 3 loops.)= 6 st.

Round 6: 1 decrease every 2nd st. = 3 st.

Round 7:  2 SC into every st. = 6 st.

Round 8: 1 SC into every st.

Round 9: 1 decrease every 2nd st. = 3 st.

For six legs crochet 3 chains of 18 - 22 CH. Sew them under the spider belly.

Sew the eyes and mouth with contrasting red or pink yarn. For the spooky effect, choose neon yarn that glows in the dark.
